Dr. Safi Shams is a social historian interested in structural formation and transformation primarily in the cultural and economic spheres. He is an assistant professor in the department of sociology and anthropology, and in the integrated program in philosophy, economics and politics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Substantively, his work focuses on institutional change in corporate governance, organizations and workplace inequality, social theory, and morality and aesthetics.
